Craniosacral Therapy

Evaluate and balance the craniosacral system.

Manage Stress and Tension

Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, light touch hands-on therapy to evaluate and balance the craniosacral system, which comprises membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord.

Craniosacral Therapy focuses on normalising abnormal tensions and stresses in the meningeal membrane with special attention on the dura mater and its fascial connections. It then branches from the skull bones, to the sacrum area. The development and performance of the central nervous system can also be influenced by the craniosacral system.

Craniosacral Therapy was developed by John E Upledger around 30 years ago. Dr Upledger is an Osteopathic Physician and researcher.
